This is me the morning I was induced with Sam. Getting this big left some. . . shall we say “beauty marks” on my belly.
Tonight as I was cleaning Luke up after dinner he lifted up his shirt and said “Look Mom, my belly's white." He then proceeded to lift up my shirt and ask “What's yours?” As he lifted my shirt to observe my belly he said, "Oh, it's striped."
Gotta love the honest & always hilarious humor of a child!

Definitely causes a belly laugh :o) Gotta love Luke!!!
They are the mark of motherhood for me, too. Though I was marked with the first. Atleast you were spared with Luke. They just get wider and uglier with each pregnancy, I hear - WAH!
You are a beautiful mama with or without belly stripes!!!!!
Can you believe that was 4 months ago???
I dont even remember having the belly... I only know that I REALLY dont want one right now!!
He is so cute!!! And so well behaved today!!!
cant wait to do it again!!!
I was 23 when Walker was born. My parents never "let me" wear a bikini and I married on my 21st birthday. Never got around to trying out a bikini. Walker weighed 9 # 13 oz. I had never even heard of stretch marks. I was the first of my friends to marry and have a baby. Let's just say it was quite a shock to me. My bikini days were over before they had begun! But I had about 2.5 minutes of sorrow. Then looked at my grand and gloriously handsome son and have never looked back since!
Badges of honor. For sure. Thank you, Lord!
