Yes indeed. . .Creighton and I just recently returned from a much needed getaway. My parents so graciously offered up some of their time share points to us this summer and we decided to take advantage! We chose to go to New Orleans- although we heard many mixed opinions about this choice. Some people claimed it was the "arm pit of the world" while others raved about its lively atmosphere and fantastic food. We decided on New Orleans partly because Creighton was tired of always just traveling in Texas (although we LOVE San Antonio & Austin, they even get a little old after a while) and partly because I didn't want to go somewhere too far away from the boys. Little did I know when I booked our trip that it would take us 8 hours to get there! By the time we arrived I could barely walk and my behind probably resembled a pancake, although I really enjoyed the quiet time in the car with my hubby. It's rare that we get even two words in without being interrupted by a very vocal little guy in the back seat.
I was a little apprehensive about the condo we had booked. Online it looked pretty nice, but you just never know. We arrived Friday evening and I was pleasantly surprised. The condo was FANTASTICO!! It had a beautiful living area, a small kitchen (but who wants to cook in New Orleans?!?!?), a nice size bedroom, and a balcony with a private hot tub! Here are some pictures.
