Lately making dinner has been rather difficult. Luke has decided that Mommy making dinner = "I need my Mommy right now!". Between the whining, crying, and hanging on my legs it takes me an hour to make a 20 minute meal. I have tired everything to keep him occupied while cooking. . . snacks, Leap Frog fridge toys, and even (gasp) T.V. Nothing seemed to work for more than 5 minutes. Recently I got the brillant idea of taking out kitchen utensils and bowls. Luke absoultey LOVES to play with these things. I know moms have been using these items as distractions for years, I just can't believe I didn't think of this sooner!!

oh my word he is really getting big!!!! he is too cute...i feel yoru pain cookign has been rather diff for us too but addi has her own cabinet now so that helps
Hey if he keeps it up, he'll make a great husband someday. What woman doesn't want a man who knows how to cook!?!
Luke sure is looking more and more like his daddy.
Oh, and Hattie wanted to say something to Luke after their playdate today....."SHAAAARE!" Gosh, I have a feeling they're gonna be more like brother and sister than friends. They were not very nice to each other today! Too bad their mommies are gonna keep puttin' them in the same room together for years to come. They'll learn to love :0).
