We have met some MAJOR milestones in this past week. Thanks to my WONDERFUL, LOVING, and PATIENT sister in law, the Lukester is now POTTY TRAINED!!!! Amber, my SIL, came to watch Sam and Luke this week while we were at work. She generously offered to try to potty train Luke while she potty trained her 2 year old, Ryan. I hesitated just a little since I know how stubborn my son can be, but on the inside I was secretly jumping for joy!!:o) Potty training is something that I have not been looking forward to. Luke has not been the least bit interested and would always fight us about anything potty related (from wearing underwear to sitting on the potty). The first 3 days of training were a little rough, but by the end of day 3 he had gone to the potty twice!! Day 4 was his best day. He wore underwear all day with NO accidents and even pooped in the potty!!! I never thought I would be so excited about a little poop and pee, but I was ecstatic when I got the text that he had done both!! I can not express how happy I am to not have to change disgusting 2 year old diapers anymore!!!:o) He has had a few accidents here and there, but overall I would say that we are on the fast track to no more diapers!!!
Sam also met a major milestone. He slept for 7 hours last night!!! I know this isn't the recommended full 8 hours of sleep, but this momma was happy nonetheless! I am hoping for many more of these nights!

The lovey seems to serve 2 purposes - comforting baby and keeping the paci in the mouth - what a way to multi-task a stuffed toy, Sam! I knew you were super bright and brilliant like his godmother ;)!
Yay for Luke for going in the potty!!!!
Love the picture of you 3! You look great, Christie.
yay!!! :) I'm so hapy that Luke is potty trained and that Sam is starting to sleep longer.
Ethan hasn't surpassed 7.5 hours yet....
So excited for the potty training! Go Amber! I guess she should pretty much be an expert by now. Love the pics, especially the one with you - you look like my high school friend holding someone else's babies!
great pictures!!!!!!
hope everything is going good!!!
i need to call you to see how " training" @ school is going! hope u arent too sore!!!
You look incredible! And your sons are soooooo handsome! Good news re. the potty-trained Luke! Wendy is STILL not there. She'll go tee-tee in the potty when we put her on it, but won't poop in it very often and certainly wets without thinking about it. Ugh.
Yay for one less child in diapers!!! I can't wait to see them both in a few weeks!
