O Christmas Tree

When C and I first got married we started a tradition of cutting down our own Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. We use to go to a wonderful tree farm outside of College Station, but being that it is now a 2 hour drive to this farm (and we have a toddler in tow) we have been looking for a new tree farm closer to our home. Last year we traveled to 2 tree farms before we cut down a tree (and the tree we cut down NEVER soaked up water). To say the least we were a little disappointed. This year we decided to try a new tree farm in Tomball. So the day after Thanksgiving we waddled our full bellies on over to this really neat Christmas tree farm. It was much better than last years. C had lots of fun searching for the PERFECT Christmas tree, while L enjoyed running through the farm. I enjoyed chasing him from one end to the other, trying to get a few good pictures :o). With the cold weather and free hayride and hot chocolate, this trip really put us in the Christmas mood. . .all we needed was a little snow! Here are a few pictures of our successful Christmas tree outing!

I love these pictures, especially the black and white ones! Hope this tree does better for you than last year's tree.
