Caldwell Zoo

This past week L and I went with my parents on a mini vacation to Tyler. We had a wonderful time, despite the extreme heat!:o) One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to the Caldwell Zoo. I think it is one of the best kept secrets around. It is a small zoo with beautiful surroundings. It is just the right size for young children.

L was fascinated by the birds at the zoo. There was a area where you could actually feed parakeets and other small birds. He was mesmerized by the array of colors as hundreds of birds flew around him.
